Ben Affleck is officially set to star in a new political comedy for Warner Bros. called Nathan Decker. The script for the film comes from Dan Fogelman (Crazy, Stupid, Love), and the story follows "a politician who is caught in an affair and returns to his hometown to confront his past."
Tom Cruise was in discussions to take on the lead role at one point, but obviously that didn't work out. Affleck has become quite the talented director, but he will not be directing this movie, he'll only star in it. He's currently finishing up his next film Argo. I prefer director Affleck over actor Affleck... what's your preference?
