Tom Hardy has added another Warner Bros. project to his slate. Variety reports that The Dark Knight Rises star is set to produce and headline an untitled motorcycle movie set in the 1960's. The screenplay will be penned by Mark L. Smith (Vacancy, The Hole) for the untitled picture. The story will have Hardy playing "a Vietnam vet, returning to San Francisco and forming a biker gang." Not much else is known about the project at this time.

The Inception star recently appeared in Warrior and This Means War and will be seen in The Wettest County after he plays Bane this summer. If you have not seen Warrior, I highly recommend you check it out.

This sounds like a cool project for Hardy, and one that will add some diversity to his resume. I like the idea of a period biker movie. What is your favorite role Hardy has played so far?
