Woody Harrelson to Join OUT OF THE FURNACE

The Hunger GamesWoody Harrelson is in negotiations to take on the role of a villain Relativity Media's crime drama project Out of the Furnace. If cast, he would join Christian Bale and Casey Affleck who star in the film as brothers.

Here's a description of the story:

Russell and his younger brother live in the economically depressed Rust Belt, and have always dreamed of escaping and finding better lives. But when a cruel twist of fate lands Russell in prison, his brother is lured into one of the most violent and ruthless crime rings in the Northeast - a mistake that will almost cost him everything. Once released, Russell must choose between his own freedom, or risk it all to seek justice for his brother.

If Harrelson takes the part he will play Curtis DeGroat, "the ringleader who Bale's character winds up seeking vengeance against." Harrelson was one of the best parts of The Hunger Games, and he's recently been picking some good movie roles. It will be cool to see him play a ruthless crime lord. The movie is being produced by Leonardo DiCaprio, Ridley and Tony Scott
