STAR TREK Transporter App Lands In Calgary

Beam me up Scotty, a new Trek Transporter App called Vulcan Tourism Transporter is now available for the iPhone and iPad. The app has been released for the Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo and can be used at Trek-themed bus shelters in Calgary, Canada through the end of April. The Calgary Expo will also have a booth and will run from April 27-29.

Here is what Kandrix Foong, Director of the Expo had to say about the app:

“This technology [designed by E-axis] is so cool; it’s an interactive way for fans to have some fun. It’s just one aspect of the celebration for the twenty-fifth anniversary of Star Trek: The Next Generation and the cast reunion activities we have planned during the weekend of April 27-29.”

Catherine Pooley stated that the software will give Vulcan Tourism the ability to create backdrops all over town. If you are in Calgary you can see the Trek-themed bus shelters at 4 St. at 17 Ave. S.W., and 9th Avenue and 3 Street SW.
