THE GREAT UNKNOWN Comic Getting Big Screen Adaptation

Movie by Joey Paur

New Line Cinema has nabbed the rights to a comic book called The Great Unknown, which comes from Image Comics, and creator Duncan Rouleau. The studio has also already hired SNL writer Jorma Taccone (MacGruber) to direct the film and bring it to life on the big screen.

The story is described as a action comedy, and it follows "a guy who is convinced someone’s stealing all of his great ideas and groundbreaking innovations before he can do anything about them."

Here's the synopsis to the first issue of the comic:

A MIND-THROBBING WHODUNNIT! Everything Zach Feld imagines - impossibly - shows up somewhere else. It's as if someone is reading his mind and selling his incredible thoughts to the highest bidder. His friends and family think Zach is a freeloader with delusions of grandeur - making up one weird paranoiac story after another to defend his directionless life. They might be right. But when Zach begins to dig deeper into the mystery, he discovers that they might be very, very wrong. Has someone been sneaking around inside Zach's mind?

I could see this turning out to be a great movie. I've never read the comic, but I love the concept behind it. Do you think this comic would make for a good movie?
