Warner Bros to Attack Los Angeles with Dinosaurs

Movie by Eli Reyes
Warner Bros. has picked up a sci-fi action pitch from John Clisham, a long-time employee for James Cameron's Lightstorm Entertainment. The only directing credits to Clisham's name is for an Avatar short called The Night Before Avatar and for an episode of Assorted Nightmares. So the pic will be the first feature for Clisham who is penning the script with Mike Bayman.
Plot details are being kept under wraps, but we do know that the story will revolve around a rapidly evolving species of dinosaurs who attack modern Los Angeles. I know what you're thinking... Yes, dinosaurs were running around Southern California wreaking havoc in Jurassic Park: The Lost World, just a couple hours south in San Diego. It's bad enough we get earthquakes over here in real life, and have been attacked more than a few times by aliens in make-believe land, but dinosaurs... twice?!!!
The idea was originally being developed over at Break Media as a large-scale web series, but Warner Bros. purchased the pitch after seeing some early test shots. So there must be something more to this than just sounding like a Jurassic Park 2 reboot, which wouldn't be hard. I'm still getting my head around the fact that most dinosaur names have been changed since I was a kid... but I digress.
Are you ready for another movie about dinosaurs?
