Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Edgar Wright Shooting THE WORLDS END in September!

The hilarious comedic trio that brought us Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz are prepping up to start shooting their latest movie adventure called The Worlds End. The film will be directed by Edgar Wright and star Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. Wright wrote the scrpt for the film with Pegg, and the plan is to start shooting it in September, for a release sometime in spring of next year.

I'm a big fan of these guys, and they have yet to let me down. Their movies always seem to turn out being incredibly funny and entertaining, so this is a movie that we should all be excited about!

Here's the Synopsis for the film:

20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hell bent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their home town and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub, The World’s End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s. Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries.

There's obviously a lot more about this movie that has yet to be revealed. Do you think this film will be as awesome as the other movies they've made?
