Robert De Niro Confirmed for LAST VEGAS

Movie Robert De Niro by Joey Paur

Last month we reported that Robert De Niro was in talks to join the new Vegas comedy Last Vegas with Christopher Walken. It's now been confirmed that De Niro will in fact join Michael Douglas in the cast.

Douglas plays "a man who, before marrying a woman half his age, invites his three childhood best friends on a wild bachelor party weekend in Las Vegas, where old tensions crop up between him and one of the trio over the woman they both loved as teenagers."

De Niro will play “the party-averse Paddy Connelly, who reluctantly agrees to fly to Vegas at the request of his friends.” He also has "a beef with Douglas’ character over a girl they liked when they were young."

The movie was written by Dan Fogelman (Crazy, Stupid, Love) and will be directed by Jon Turteltaub. I really hope Walken ends up joining the cast as well! One of our readers mentioned they'd also like to see Gary Busey and Dustin Hoffman join the project, which I can definitely see as well. What other aged actors can you think of that would be fun to see getting crazy in Vegas?

This could turn out to be a great comedy.
