BREAKING BAD Season 5 to Premiere in July!
AMC has announced that the the fifth and final season of Breaking Bad will premiere on July 15th, 2012! The final season will consist of 16 episodes, and they'll play in two parts. The final eight episodes will conclude in the summer of 2013. So unfortunately we're going to have to wait an entire year before we see the final episodes released.
I'm a huge fan of this series, and it will be sad to see it go, but I'm extremely excited to see how this story ends. It's going to be great to see where Walt goes from here now that he has no one standing in his way. I don't see how this is going to turn out good. The series is currently filming in Albuquerque, N.M.
It was also announced that a new reality series called Small Town Security, about a family-owned private security company in Georgia, will debut after Breaking Bad. The western Hell of Wheels is set to return August 12th for a 10-episode second season. If you haven't been watching that show it's a drama about the building of the transcontinental railroad.
