FUTURE, INC: Sci-Fi Short Shot In 48 Hours Is Better Than Most Features

The stakes are high each year at the 48 hour Film Challenge at the Sci-Fi London Film Festival. Filmmakers are given a bag of props, a movie title, and theme prompts, and then give them 48 hours to make a 5-minute film. The winner of the contest gets backing to make a feature film. There were hundreds of entries this year, but the film that caught the attention of fans and judges alike was "Future, Inc." by Future Tense.

The short film has better character development and storyline than many feature length films I have seen. According to io9, the main prop the team got was "sticky notes with writing on them." Check out the short film above and let us know your thoughts.

I can't wait to see what they are able to do with a feature film. I really like the concept of this short, what about you?
