This is a great series of custom made toys inspired by the style of artist Mike Mignola, the creator of Hellboy. These were created by Matt Cauley who used Hellboy action figures as the base to make his Batman and Rocketeer figures. I love the style of these, and they turned out to be extremely cool.

The artist points out that the Batman figure is based on Batman’s appearance in Legends of the Dark Knight #44. Mignola considers this to be the first “Hellboy” story he ever did. What do you think of these?
