SPY HUNTER Reboot in the Works From Warner Bros.

Sit down and engage your weapons, Warner Bros. is rebooting the Spy Hunter franchise, which celebrates its 30th Anniversary next year. Variety reports that the studio is set to launch a new installment of the 1980s videogame three years after buying Midway Games. The game will arrive this fall on Sony's PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS, and is being developed by TT Fusion for Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

Players will once again play as "Agent, the driver of the high-tech G-6155 Interceptor, an armed supercar that can transform into various vehicles depending upon the terrain, as he battles a global terrorist organization set on world domination." An unmanned aerial support drone has been included to help players. A slow motion camera is included to let players "savor the destruction they created."

Here is what Samantha Ryan, senior VP at Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment had to say about the game:
"'Spy Hunter's' classic gameplay has been upgraded to give PlayStation Vita and 3DS players a new, adrenaline-charged experience. Gamers now have more choice in the transformation and customization with greater hand controls, brilliant graphics and enhanced action cameras."
I loved playing Spy Hunter and other retro Midway games so this should be cool. It will be interesting to see if they will turn this property into a movie too. Are you looking forward to playing this game?
