Hasbro Announces Super Helicarrier as Comic-Con Exclusive
One of my new favorite parts of The Avengers universe is the Super Helicarrier. Flying around with a bunch of superheroes in a high-tech invisible aircraft carrier is any fans dream. Fans will have to settle for a miniature version, and Hasbro has us covered. According to the LA Times, the toymaker is bringing the hovering fortress in miniature form to the Comic-Con International (July 12-15).
The Helicarrier will be on sale at the Hasbro’s booth (No. 3329) for $129.99. Despite the price tag, this item will likely sell out quickly. The Comic-Con limited edition is a foot longer and comes with two special-edition action figures (new versions of Captain America and S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Maria Hill) The box also features special artwork by Joe Quesada.
I am looking forward to going to the Con this year, but I will be travelling light and will not likely buy anything this big. My main interest are pop vinyl figures. Are you going to Comic-Con this year? If so, stay tuned for our coverage.
