Charlize Theron in Talks for John Madden's MURDER MYSTERY

Charlize Theron is on a hot streak, with Prometheus and Snow White and the Huntsman. Deadline reports that Theron is co-producing and negotiating to star in Murder Mystery. The comedic whodunit is being directed by John Madden based on a script by James Vanderbilt. Production is slated to star in the first-quarter of 2013. 

Murder Mystery is described as an “affectionate deconstruction” of an Agatha Christie tale involving comedy, action, and mystery around an American couple abroad." Madden's The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel has crossed $100 million in global box office for Fox Searchlight. I am not sure if this will be a modern-day movie or a period piece, either way I enjoy these types of films.
