NEW SUPER MARIO BROS. 2 Artwork Shows Off the Upcoming Game's Focus on Gold

While sitting in the audience of Nintendo's E3 press event and watching the company show off it's newest Mario game for the 3DS, I couldn't help but think someone was on drugs when making this. 

I mean, seriously, it's like the gold color was simply everywhere. After completing this upcoming game, one may even hate the sight of yellow or gold. But that doesn't mean it will not deliver in being a pretty awesome game. 

High quality artwork has now been released for New Super Mario Bros. 2, which gives us more of that Mario universe that we love. Very similar to the Super Mario Bros. game for SNES, we now have the clown-faced helicopters flying around with enemies in it. I can't wait to take them down again! 

You even get a good look at the gold Lakitu and the gold bullets, which look like the same characters of course... but just in a different shade of color.
