Jim Carrey Drops Out of DUMB AND DUMBER Sequel
In April, we reported that Dumb & Dumber 2 was moving forward with Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels set to reprise their roles. According to director Peter Farrelly, the film was set to begin filming in September. Entertainment Tonight is now reporting that Carrey has dropped out of the project.
Sources stated that: "Carrey grew increasingly frustrated by New Line and Warner Brothers, who he felt showed a lack of enthusiasm regarding the project."
According to Carrey's publicist, the actor stated: "I would have thought Dumb and Dumber Two was a no-brainer, after all it's implied in the title."
I personally can not see this movie going forward without both Carrey and Daniels in the roles. Do you think that the project should move forward?
