Aaron Eckhart to Play President in OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN

Aaron Eckhart has joined the cast of Olympus Has Fallen, which is being directed by Antoine Fuqua for Millennium Films.The Dark Knight actor will play the President of the United States. Gerard Butler also stars in this film, which is described as "Die Hard in the White House." 

Creighton Rothenberger and Katrin Benedikt wrote the script, which follows "a former Secret Service agent who becomes America's only hope when the White House is overtaken by terrorists."

Filming is slated to star in September with Butler and his manager Alan Siegel producing along with  Millennium prexy Mark Gill, while Avi Lerner will exec produce with Trevor Short. Sony also has a White House takeover film in the works called White House Down. 

I am very interested in seeing either of these films because I love action movies. Since they obviously won't be filming in the White House, I am also interested in seeing how accurate the production designs turn out for both films. Which movie are you most looking forward to seeing?
