In today's news attack, we have the first look at Marvel's "Phase 2" Logos, a photo from the set of Kimberly Peirce's Carrie remake, and a poster for The Tall Man.
First up, BadTaste.it, shared some snapshots of Marvel logos for films like The Avengers 2, Captain America 2, Thor 2, and Iron Man 3. As you can see, these are nothing special and are likely to change.
Splash News Online revealed the first look at Chloe Moretz in costume on the set of Carrie. I doubt the sunglasses are part of the costume, but the rest looks pretty cool.
Bloody Disgusting has shared the first poster for The Tall Man, which stars Jessica Biel. The horror film was diirected by Pascal Laugier, and it arrives in theaters August 31.
Here is the synopsis:
“In an isolated, slowly dying mining town, children are vanishing without a trace – abducted, the townsfolk whisper, by a mysterious entity known locally as “The Tall Man.” Town nurse Julia Denning (Biel) seems skeptical…until her young David disappears in the middle of night. Frantic to rescue the boy, Julia lives every parent’s darkest nightmare in this twisting, shock-around-each-corner thriller from acclaimed director Pascal Laugier.”
Of cource, I am most interested in seeing anything Marvel has to do with. These logos look pretty pathetic. I would have been interested in hearing what was said on stage over seeing the logos. DePalma's version of Carrie is going to be hard to beat, but Moretz and Pierce just may be able to do it. I hope Tall Man is better than this poster looks.
Which of these movies are you most interested in seeing? If you could design a logo for any of Marvel's upcoming films, which would it be?
