GODZILLA Stomping into Comic-Con!?

Movie Godzilla Comic-Con by Joey Paur

It looks like everyone's favorite giant destructive lizard Godzilla will invade San Diego Comic-Con this year! According to our friends at Latino Review, not only will Legendary Picture be showing off some of Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim awesomeness, but they will also be bringing Godzilla along for the ride!

Apparently the production company has put together a sweet-ass presentation to show off to all fans in attendance. The movie is being directed Gareth Edwards (Monsters) from a script written by David Goyer (The Dark Knight) and re-written by Max Borenstein.

Edwards previously said the classic big screen monster will be handled with respect explaining,

I guess I will say I’m highly aware – and everyone involved is incredibly aware – of everyone’s opinions on what this film has to do and what it has to be. And no one will do anything but the right thing. Without addressing anything specific, everyone knows how important is to get it right.

Everyone involved knows what the film has to be, what’s important to me is that, as well as spectacle, you have to give a shit about what’s happening and why.

I can't wait to see what they have planned for this film! I guess we'll find out in a couple of weeks! The panel will take place in Hall H during the Warner Bros presentation on Saturday July 14th. Will you be in attendance? If so we'll see you there!
