Ewoks' True Role in STAR WARS
If you're like me, you thought Ewoks were cute when you were a kid. Let's face it, in Empire Strikes Back, the characters went through some intense stuff. So what's a little harm in throwing some cute, yet semi-useless characters at us in Return of The Jedi? If Jawas were cool, these are too, right?
After watching The Phantom Menace, you soon realized though that the Ewoks true role in the Lucas' Star Wars legacy: Ewoks were the shaking glass of water trying to warn us of the monster that Lucas would really unleash on us decades later. I don't want to be too harsh on the furry little guys, but they are the appetizer to the main entree, the Jar Jar Binks crap sandwich with a side of racist. There I said it. I can't take it back now.
