Stunning Trailer for Ang Lee's LIFE OF PI
20th Century Fox has released the first full trailer for Ang Lee's Life of Pi, and damn it looks beautifully stunning! We were shown a clip of the film in theaters before Prometheus and it was a little odd. A lot of people didn't know what to make of it, but this trailer shows us an absolutely wonderful looking film. It looks like a solid story, it's visually incredible, and I'm impressed.
Here's a short synopsis:
Director (Brokeback Mountain, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) creates a groundbreaking movie event about a young man who survives a tragic disaster at sea and is hurtled into an epic journey of adventure and discovery. While marooned on a lifeboat, he forms an amazing and unexpected connection with the ship's only other survivor -- a fearsome Bengal tiger.
The movie is set to hit theaters later this year on November 21st, and this trailer sold me on seeing it. Watch the trailer for yourself and let us know what you think of it!
