Todd McFarlane Original SPIDER-MAN Art Sells for $675,250

The original comic book cover art you see here is from Amazing Spider-Man no. 328 was created by Todd McFarlane. It sold for a record price of $675,250! The previous record price for comic art was $448,125 for a page from issue no. 3 of the classic 1986 Batman mini-series The Dark Knight Rises.

McFarlane is one of my favorite comic artists I loved collecting his comics. I don't think I could ever spend that kind of money on a piece of his original art though. How much money would you spend on an original piece of art from your favorite comic book artist?
