John Leguizamo Joins KICK-ASS 2 and THE COUNSELOR

John Leguizamo has just landed a couple of solid roles in some upcoming films that we're looking forward to. He was just cast in Jeff Wadlow's Kick-Ass 2, in which he will play a bodyguard assigned to protect the villain in the story, Red Mist, who will again be played by Christopher Mintz-Plasse. Aaron Johnson and Chloe Moretz are both coming back to reprise their roles along with Nicolas Cage, who will most likey have some flashback scenes. 

The actor was also cast in Ridley Scott's The Counselor, in which he'll play a low level drug dealer. The movie was scripted by Cormac McCarthy and also stars Michael Fassbender, Brad Pitt, Penelope Cruz, and Cameron Diaz.

The story follows a respected lawyer who thinks he can dip a toe into the drug business without getting sucked down. It is a bad decision and he tries his best to survive it and get out of a desperate situation.

Leguizamo also just recently made a deal to star in a new ABC pilot called Only Fools and Horses. He's obviously keeping himself busy.
