With Comic-Con only a few days away, there has been an influx of awesome content. Today we have our first look at a giant robot from Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim. This could be the Jaegar, "the obsolete giant robot that a washed-up pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi) have to team up to pilot, as humanity's last hope against the rampaging giant monsters that have decimated our other giant robot forces."

Here is the synopsis:
In Pacific Rim, legions of monstrous creatures known as Kaiju started rising from the sea and begin a war that would take millions of lives and consume humanity’s resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. Under the direction of Guillermo Del Toro, and starring Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, and Rinko Kikuchi, the movie is set to be released on July 12, 2013.
These robots are frickin huge, as you can see from the puny humans on its shoulder. I am very excited to see this movie, it feels like it has been in production forever. This will be Del Toro's big directing comeback. Are you excited to see this in theaters?
