TAKEN Director to Take on THE HITMAN'S BODYGUARD

Taken director Pierre Morel is in negotiations to direct an action movie called The Hitman’s Bodyguard for Paramount. The script was written by Tom O'Connor (Fire with Fire), and the story follows a "protection agent who is forced to escort to the Hague a hitman awaiting his chance to testify against a war criminal and ex-head of state of an Eastern European country."

Morel not only directed Taken, his first movie was a great action flick called B13, and then after Taken he made To Paris with Love, which I didn't really care for. Two out of three isn't bad, though! This sounds like a good project for him to develop.
