Angelina Jolie’s daughter Cast in MALEFICENT
Disney has confirmed that Angelina Jolie's daughter Vivienne Jolie-Pitt will make her feature film debut in Disney's live-action Sleeping Beauty movie, Maleficent. She will have a small role in the film playing a child version of Princess Aurora, who is later cursed and basically put into a coma before prince charming comes along and plants a kiss on her to wake her up. The older version of Aurora will be played by Elle Fanning.
The film will give us an origin story on the insane villain, Maleficent, and what led her to curse Princess Aurora in the first place. The story will be told from her point of view, which should be interesting to see.
Robert Stromberg is making his directorial debut with this film, which also stars Sharlto Copley, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Miranda Richardson, Juno Temple, and Lesley Manville.
Maleficent is set to hit theaters on March 14th 2014.
