Lost star Josh Holloway finally landed another movie gig. I thought for sure he would be taking the lead role in movies by now, but it seems like he's still trying to work his way up through the system. Holloway will join Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sam Worthington in the David Ayer-directed film Ten.
The movie has been described as a testosterone-heavy riff on Agatha Christie's Ten Little Indians. The story "follows an elite DEA task force that robs a dangerous drug cartel under the guise of a tactical raid on one of its safe houses. They think they've gotten away with millions in merch, until team members begin getting bumped off one by one."
Holloway is in talks to play a character named Neck, a tough member of Schwarzenegger's DEA team who also acts as the medic. The movie also stars Malin Akerman, Terrence Howard, Mireille Enos, Joe Mangianello, Olivia Williams, Max Martini and Dawn Olivieri.
The last time I saw Holloway he was playing a spy in Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, and he was killed off pretty quick. Ayer is a solid filmmaker and I'm looking forward to seeing what he ends up doing with Ten!
