DiCaprio, Maguire, and Hardy Producing Anti-Poaching Film

Looks like a reunion is brewing behind the scenes for a couple stars of Inception and a longtime friend.

Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hardy, and Tobey Maguire are teaming up to produce an anti-poaching film based on a Traffic-style idea of Hardy's. No one is quite sure whether the trio would star in the project, but the story is based on a few of Hardy's friends, former special forces soldiers who went on to fight poachers in nations across the world.

The story, like Soderbergh's drug film, is said to cover all aspects of poaching, "from the ground war on poachers in the African savanna to how animal material ends up in the fashion houses of Paris." No writer is attached yet, but it sounds like a compelling story that we haven't yet seen in what will presumably be a large budget film. It would be great to see these blockbuster stars reunite on screen; DiCaprio and Hardy shared the screen in Inception, while Maguire, Leo's longtime best friend, will star opposite the powerhouse actor in next summer's The Great Gatsby. I love the concept of getting these guys together, since it would likely prove a much-needed boost in Maguire's career.

What do you think about the possibility of DiCaprio, Hardy, and Maguire starring together in an anti-poaching movie?
