Detailed Breakdown of Michael Bay's Crappy NINJA TURTLES Script

The script for the Michael Bay-produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot recently leaked online for all to see for a short time before Paramount Pictures had it pulled off the net - but not before word got out that the script was awful! Even TMNT co-creator Peter Laird hated it and was happy that it didn't go into production. Yesterday we posted a few of the changes in the TMNT storyline that was scrapped by the studio, but today, thanks to our friends at Latino Review we have a great video breakdown giving us some detailed insight into just how crappy this script really was.

Someone actually thought this was a good idea at some point. Thankfully the studio was smart enough to realize just how bad it was. A new script for the film is currently being written, a new TMNT reboot is eventually going to happen, just not this version.

According to the site, the project "was called ‘The Blue Door’ written by Andre Nemec & Josh Applebaum... It’s half-good and half absolutely horrible, with the first act-and-a-half delivering what Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans want: awesome Turtle action and wisecracks. What comes after, well, it’s Midichlorian-level nonsense."

Hopefully the next script is a lot better. Watch the video review below, and be grateful that we won't be tortured with this Ninja Turtle ridiculousness.
