First Look at Chris Pine as JACK RYAN

Here's our first look at Chris Pine cruising downtown Manhattan on a motorcycle as the title character Jack Ryan in Kenneth Branagh's new political action thriller. 

Jack Ryan is a prequel to the book series written by Tom Clancy. The story centers on ex-Marine and Moscow-based financial analyst Jack Ryan (Pine), who uncovers a plot by his employer to finance a terrorist attack designed to collapse the U.S. economy. Ryan must race against time to save America and his wife.

The film also stars Kevin Costner, Keira Knightley and Branagh will play the villain. This is the fifth film in the Jack Ryan franchise which which also includes The Hunt for Red October, Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger and The Sum of All Fears.

I think Pine is a solid choice for a younger version of this character, but no one will be as awesome as Harrison Ford. Now that you've seen a photo, do you think Pine will make for a good Jack Ryan?
