BLADE RUNNER Mondo Poster Featuring Pleasure Model Pris

Mondo has released another great piece of poster art. This one was inspired by Ridley Scott's classic sci-fi noir film Blade Runner. The unique design was created by Craig Drake, and it features the character Pris. Here's what the artist had to say about the piece in a interview with io9,

I think Pris has a strong character design, both her aesthetic and her personality are extremely iconic.

The motivation for Pris was to merge the vibrant Nagel stye with the gorgeous darkness of Syd Mead's futuristic landscape. For Pris in particular, I felt she needed to veer slightly away from the familiar 80's style and rendition her towards a more comic book noir.

Blade Runner is one of the greatest films ever made. As if cinematic planets aligned to bring together genius design.

Well, he did an incredible job with the poster, it has a slick design. The 24 x 36 poster will be available for sale from Mondo on Friday, for $60 bucks. It's a limited edition print of 125 copies.

According to the site, the art is part of a new Mondo exhibition opening this Friday in Austin, TX that will feature two more Blade Runner posters created by Drake, along with his sleek 80s-inspired poster art for Metropolis, Black Swan, Kill Bill and more.

What do you think of the poster design?
