SINISTER Gets a New Poster and Release Date

Summit Entertainment released a new poster for Ethan Hawk's upcoming horror thriller Sinister. They've also given the film a new release date. It was supposed to come out on October 5th, but it's been pushed to October 12th.

The movie was directed by Scott Derrickson (The Day the Earth Stood Still), and also stars Vincent D'Onofrio, James Ransone, Fred Dalton Thompson, Nicholas King, Clare Foley, Victoria Leigh, Juliet Rylance, and Michael Hall D'Addario.

The movie centers on Ethan Hawke as a true crime novelist that moves his family into a house where another family was murdered. That doesn't seem like the smartest thing to do. There, he discovers a box of mysterious, disturbing home movies that plunge his family into a nightmarish experience of supernatural horror.

It looks like it's going to be decent horror movie. You can check out the trailer below if you haven't seen it yet.
