Ethan Hawk's SINISTER gets a Disturbing Red-Band Trailer

A new red-band trailer has been released for the upcoming horror thriller Sinister, which stars Ethan Hawk. There is no dialogue spoken in this latest trailer, just a creepy score, with crazy sounds, and some pretty disturbing visuals. It's the best trailer I've seen for the film, because it was the most effective in making me feel a little uncomfortable and disturbed. The movie looks like a great psychological horror thriller that will screw with people's minds. I was kind of on the fence about this movie until I watched this trailer.

In the story Ethan Hawke plays a true crime novelist that moves his family into a house where another family was murdered. That doesn't seem like the smartest thing to do. There, he discovers a box of mysterious, disturbing home movies that plunge his family into a nightmarish experience of supernatural horror.

The movie was directed by Scott Derrickson (The Day the Earth Stood Still) from a script written by C. Robert "Massawyrm" Cargill, and also stars Vincent D'Onofrio, James Ransone, Fred Dalton Thompson, Nicholas King, Clare Foley, Victoria Leigh, Juliet Rylance, and Michael Hall D'Addario.

The movie will be released on October 12th. Does it look like a scary movie to you?
