The first trailer has finally been released for Tommy Wirkola's R-rated fantasy action film Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters. The story takes place 15 years after the Grimm's Fairy Tale siblings' incident at the gingerbread house. The film finds Hansel and Gretel working as bounty hunters, tracking down supernatural beings. Jeremy Renner (The Avengers), Gemma Arterton (Clash of Titans) and Famke Janssen (X-Men) star in the movie.
This looks like an incredibly fun film! I like the action-packed comedic vibe that it has. It kind of reminds me a little bit of Army of Darkness. I'm sure the movie is going to have some cheesy, possibly bad moments, but I think it will end up being entertaining. The trailer gives us a good idea of what we can expect to see.
