The fan made saga continues with Star Wars Uncut taking on The Empire Strikes Back. Here's a new trailer announcing the official launch, featuring lots of footage taken from Star Wars Celebration VI in Orlando, where they screened A New Hope Uncut.

The Star Wars Uncut project was started in 2009, and simply cuts the film into 15-second clips that fans can claim, and recreate in any medium they see fit. This project has been a labor of love for thousands, and the passion and creativity that has come out of this is astounding. I don't think there's been this much global unity among Star Wars fans since everyone realized how bad the prequels ended up. Together we can heal the pain, one 15 second clip at a time.
