Awesome Fan-Made ROBOTECH Short Trailer

As a fan of the classic Robotech anime, I've been waiting for an awesome live action feature film to get made. Back in 2007 Tobey Maguire (Spider-Man) was attached to produce and potentially star in the film, but it's been a long time since there's been any movement on the project. I'm sure one day it will actually happen, but in the mean time you can watch this incredibly cool fan-made short trailer pitch for Robotech Valkyrie Project.

The live-action/CG animated re-imagining was created by a group filmmakers with Creavision Films, and I was impressed with what they did. I can only imagine what could be done with a decent sized budget. The trailer gives us a glimpse at how incredibly awesome a live action feature film could be!
