Here's a fun vintage 30 year old Variety ad featuring a Star Wars and E.T. mashup of sorts. George Lucas posted the ad congratulating his friend Steven Spielberg for his classic sci-fi film E.T. stealing the number one spot from Star Wars in film rentals. I guess that was a big deal 30 years ago.
