Sean Patrick Flanery Joins DEXTER Cast

Sean Patrick Flanery (Boondock Saints) has joined the cast of Dexter season 8. Deadline reports that the actor will play a major recurring role on the hit Showtime drama. He will play "Jacob Elroy, the ex-cop owner of a private investigation company in Miami."

Season 8 may be the shows last. Here is what Showtime president David Nevins had to say:

I think I will clarify before Dexter goes on the air for this next season (in June). There’s a clear end game in place.

At this time there are no further details available about the casting. Stay tuned for what I am sure will be more casting and news about this series.
