Ok, so I guess yarn bombs are a thing now? I don't really follow it that much, but it's a form of street art that includes colorful displays of knitted or crocheted yarn or fibre instead of paint or chalk. I don't know what you think about it, but it sure seems like it would take a hell of a lot of time to do! For example this Star Wars inspired R2-D2 yarn bomb is incredibly cool, but it must have taken forever to make! Just look at these photos to check out the details. It's crazy that someone took the time to knit this thing, and then stick it on the streets downtown Bellingham, Washington where I'm sure it didn't last. But I guess that goes with any form of street art... what a shame.
