Teaser Trailer for Ryan Gosling's ONLY GOD FORGIVES
A teaser trailer has been released for Only God Forgives giving us our first look at director Nicolas Winding Refn's action thriller which stars Ryan Gosling. Pretty much everything we've seen from the film so far features Gosling having had his ass kicked. The teaser features a little plot set up and bits of some fight sequences. It barely scratches the surface of what will be in the film, but it's at least something to spark your interest in the film on fire.
Synopsis:
Julian (Gosling) lives in exile in Bangkok where he runs a Thai boxing club as a front for the family’s drugs smuggling operation. When Julian’s brother Billy is killed their mother, Jenna (Kristen Scott Thomas), arrives in the city. She wants revenge and forces Julian to find the killer. Julian’s contacts in the criminal underworld lead him directly to The Angel of Vengeance, a retired police officer who knows everything and who is both Judge and Punisher. Jenna demands that Julian kill The Angel of Vengeance, an act that will cost him dearly.
The movie is expected to premiere at Cannes, and then opens up in theaters this summer on May 23rd. Let us know what you think of the teaser!
