David S. Goyer Talks About How Proud He is of MAN OF STEEL
Zack Snyder's Man of Steel is set to hit theaters this summer, and I can't wait to see what they've created for the fans this time! I like what I've seen so far, which hasn't been much, but I think they are going to finally give us the Superman film we've all been waiting for. The film's screenwriter David S. Goyer recently did an interview with Access Hollywood in which he talks about how proud he is of this vision of Superman,
I'm really proud of it, I never thought I would be doing a Superman film, but I think the only possible way to top myself or ourselves on Batman is to tackle Superman who's kind of the Granddaddy of all the superheroes. He's trickier, it's kind of easier doing a dark character who doesn't have any super powers but I'm really proud of what we've done and I can't wait for people to see it. I think the movie is going to be the right movie for the times. I'm happy that movie is coming out in the summer, because I think it's the kind of movie that the world needs right now.
I love that he's excited and proud of the movie. There's going to be a lot of hype for this movie the closer we get to its release. I hope to hell that it lives up to it, because I'm really excited! Man of Steel hits theaters on June 14th, 2013!
The film stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams (The Fighter), Michael Shannon, Kevin Costner (Dances with Wolves), Diane Lane (Unfaithful), Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix), Antje Traue, Ayelet Zurer, Christopher Meloni, Harry Lennix, Michael Kelly, Richard Shiff, and Russell Crowe.
