Joseph Gordon-Levitt Addresses ANT-MAN Casting Rumors
Earlier in the week it was rumored that Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Paul Rudd are up for the lead role in Edgar Wright's Ant-Man. As I said in my previous article, I'm actually more interested in Gordon-Levitt playing Doctor Strange. In a recent interview with Huffington Post, the actor was asked about signing on for Marvel's phase 3 film, and this was his response,
"There is always a lot of rumors around these projects and so far it is still only discussions. I am always very transparent when it comes to my role and my career. I'm usually the first to speak and communicate with my fans if something happens. If you hear nothing from me, they are just rumors."
So he is definitely in the running for something at Marvel, but as of right now nothing is set in stone. It will be interesting to see what role he actually ends up landing at Marvel. Whatever role he takes, he'll make a great addiction to the Marvel universe. I hope something works out.
