Little Monsters "Hang Around" in this Beautiful and Haunting Short

The description director/animator Omar Meradi gives for his fully CG short, Lead Me, simply reads, "little monsters hanging around." With its intriguing and spectacular visuals and beautifully sentimental score, perhaps that's the only description this film needs. But if I were to attempt to interpret what the film is depicting, I'd say it's as if the creatures in someone's sketchbook are beginning to will themselves into existence.
