Red-Band Trailer for HOMEFRONT with Statham and Franco
Jason Statham and James Franco face off in this red-band trailer for the Sylvester Stallone scripted action thriller Homefront. The trailer features a lot of new footage from the film including Statham kicking some major ass and a lot of people getting shot to hell. All in all, it looks like it's going to be a pretty awesome flick.
The movie was directed by Gary Fleder (Runaway Jury, Don't Say A Word) and is based on the book by Chuck Logan. It also stars Winona Ryder, Kate Bosworth, and Frank Grillo.
The action film follows a former DEA agent (Statham) who heads to a small town with his family to get away from the dangers of his former job. There he finds a small town terrorized by a meth head gang leader (Franco), and Statham is put into a situation where he has to protect his family.
The movie is set to be released on October 4th, 2013.
