Stephen Lang to Reprise His Role in AVATAR Sequels!
James Cameron is preparing to shoot his upcoming Avatar sequels, and Variety is reporting that Stephen Lang will be back to reprise his role as Colonel Quaritch in the three sequels being developed.
Even though it looked like Lang met his demise in the first film, that isn't going to stop Cameron from bringing him back to raise hell. At least, I imagine he'll be back as a villain. After what happened in the first film, I can't see how he would have a change of heart.
Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana are also expected to return to the franchise, and it was recently announced that filming would start next October. Cameron hired Josh Friedman to write the first sequel, Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver to write the second sequel, and Shane Salerno will write the third.
I loved Lang's character in the first movie, and it's awesome to hear that he'll be coming back!
