Check out these photos of some amazing Man of Steel character mini-statues giving us a very detailed look at Henry Cavill's Superman, Michael Shannon's General Zod, Antje Traue's Faora, and Russell Crowe's Jor-El. The statues were created from super hi-definition scans of the actual actors' faces, and they also give us our best look so far at some of the costumes in the film. The statues were designed with the costume designers that worked on the film. I also didn't expect to see Jor-El holding a gun. The four miniature statues will be available this spring, before the movie is released on June 14th, for $130 dollars a piece.
The movie also stars Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Christopher Meloni as Colonel Hardy, Harry Lennixas as General Swanwick and Aylet Zurer as Lara Lor-Van.
The story follows "a young boy learns that he has extraordinary powers and is not of this Earth. As a young man, he journeys to discover where he came from and what he was sent here to do. But the hero in him must emerge if he is to save the world from annihilation and become the symbol of hope for all mankind."
