I absolutely loved this movie! Not only was it my favorite film at Sundance, but I think it might end up being one of my favorite films of the year. It really takes you on a dark and twisted Hitchcockian journey. I honestly believe this is Park Chan-wook's best film to date. I need to see it one more time before I solidify that statement. The movie included incredible performances by Nicole Kidman, Matthew Goode, and Mia Wasikowska. It was an amazing film, and you can read my review for it here.
There's a great behind the scenes featurette for the film that includes footage from the movie and interview with the cast and crew talking about the story and characters they play. Here's the synopsis...
After India’s father dies in an auto accident, her Uncle Charlie, whom she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her emotionally unstable mother, Evelyn. Soon after his arrival, India begins to suspect this mysterious, charming man has disturbing ulterior motives, but instead of feeling outrage or horror, the friendless girl becomes increasingly infatuated with him.
The movie comes out on March 1st, 2013. Click here to watch the most recent trailer. I can't wait to see this movie again!
