Michael Shannon and Elle Fanning Join Sci-Fi Film YOUNG ONES

There's an interesting sounding new sci-fi thriller that's going to be made called Young Ones. The story is set in a violent future where water has become scarce, and it's the single most precious resource.

What really got me interested in the film, though, is the cast. Variety reports that Elle Fanning (Super 8), Nicholas Hoult (Warm Bodies), Kodi Smit-McPhee (Paranorman) and Michael Shannon (Man of Steel) have joined the film, which is being developed by writer and director Jake Paltrow (The Good Night). 

The movie is already shooting in the South African desert. I'm looking forward to seeing what this movie turns out to be.
