Joel Kinnaman Joins Tom Hardy in CHILD 44

THR has recently reported that The Killing star, Joel Kinnaman, is in talks to star alongside Tom Hardy in Child 44. The film is being produced by Ridley Scott, and it's set "during the 1950s and follows a member of the Soviet military police (Hardy) who, while investigating a series of child murders, finds himself the target of his own government’s suspicions."

Kinnaman will be playing Hardy’s ambitious and murderous nemesis. The movie also stars Noomi Rapace who is playing Hardy’s chameleon-like wife.

I just picked up this book from the library yesterday. The concept seems pretty cool. I will save all other opinions until after I read it. 

Apparently, from what I am seeing, Kinnaman is a rising commodity in Hollywood. He is currently the star on a hit show, he is in talks for this job and he is also the next RoboCop. Things aren’t too shabby for the Swedish actor. 

If there are any of you who have read the book, please lets us know if he seems like a good fit. At this point I don’t think that it really matters. Also I don’t think that this is going to be the last time we will be hearing about Mr. Kinnaman.
