Emma Stone Praises Script for THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2

While making the press rounds for The Croods, Emma Stone talked a little bit about Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and praised the script for the film that was written by Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman and Jeff Pinkner. Here's what she had to say in a recent interview with Cineplex Magazine...

I'm in it, Andrew is in it. They just cast Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn, who is such a great actor, I think that will be wonderful. And Shaeline Woodley as Mary Jane, who's also wonderful. So there's all that, and the script is very, very good. I'm very much looking forward to it.

I'm very happy the way our first one was received so well. It'll be cool on the next one to see how Gwen and Peter bridge that distance that was between us at the end of it. I think it all unfolds pretty neat. And I hope they continue letting Gwen be heroic. I think they might!

I can't wait to see see how this movie turns out! I'm excited for the sequel, and I'm looking forward to seeing that new suit in action.

The movie is currently shooting in New York, and it also stars Andrew Garfield,Martin Sheen, Shailene Woodley, Jaime Foxx, Paul Giammatti, Chris Cooper, Felicity Jones, and Colm Feore, and it hits theaters on May 2nd, 2014. Here's the synopsis:

Peter hasn't forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen's father to protect her by staying away – but that's a promise he just can't keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.
